Suncatchers...

I was busy all afternoon, but these copper wire and crystal suncatchers are about all that got even semi-finished. At the market tomorrow I'll add 1mm brown leather strings to tie them to a rearview mirror or a window latch. Being mostly Chinese crystal with some Swarovskis, they'll be pretty bouncy with the rainbows.

Thanks for looking!

Hi, Karen,

I'm sorry it's taken a while to see your message. I bought these online a few years ago and when I went back to buy more, they were sold out and I haven't seen any like these shapes since. It's so frustrating. I've only been able to get the regular faceted Chinese crystals in rounds, coin and rondelles in local stores. If I do ever find any more, I'll post in the blog.

They are beautiful. Thank you for the idea to make something with my mom's costume jewelry instead of getting rid of them.
